End of Dragon Nest Blog

If you guys haven’t realised, I stopped blogging for quite some time. Almost all the guides here are already outdated, even though some may be still applicable.

So please, don’t rely on these articles too much.

Elemental Lord in-depth PvP Skill Guide, Combos, and Tactics

Elemental Lord in-depth PvP Skill Guide, Combos, and Tactics

Foreword

Recently, I have been actively researching on Elemental Lord PvP all over the Chinese sites. I have also tested what I have learnt through my EL. I may not be one of the best PvP ELs around, but I’m sure I’m at least average or better =D *shy*

I have been writing this guide for the past few days, and wondering if I should post this. One of my reasons hesitating is that I do not have the knowledge to post PvP guides for ALL classes. I do not want fellow DN players to ask for PvP guides to all the classes available. The only class I have researched on so greatly, is on EL. Nevertheless, by reading the post now, it means I have decided to post my knowledge gained on this. As for PvP Read the rest of this entry

Priest Heraldry Plates

I would not be talking about ALL the plates available, but just what I consider is good for Priests, and some other possible alternatives.

Firstly, let’s talk about Stats-based Heraldry. The most important few plates would be

  1. Fatal – Increases your Critical Chance by a certain amount. I believe all attack classes will use this plate as one of their 8 choices. Critical ignores defense, so that is what makes Critical so important. More for Lightning Priest (Inquisitor-to-be).
  2. Magic Attack – Thisamplifies your Magic Attack stat by a huge margin. Increases your damage and your healing amount for Healing Relic. Read the rest of this entry

Elemental Lord/Elementalist Heraldry Plates/Crests

I just remembered I have missed out some classes’ guide on Heraldrys. Here I am to fill up for Elemental Lords.

I would not be talking about ALL the plates available, but just what I consider is good for Elemental Lord/Elementalist, and some other possible alternatives.

Note: I do not have the names of all the Heraldry Plates from DN SEA. I will be using my own translation from the CN/TW servers. Nonetheless, I will explain what the plate does, so you will roughly get the idea which Heraldry Plate it is.

  2. Magician – The basic attack stat for Magic Attackers. This amplifies your magic attack stat by a huge margin. Read the rest of this entry

Stats Weightage for All Classes

A guide written by Syncness from DragonNestSource Forum and I take no credit for this. Just for sharing if anybody wants to know. Basically it shows exactly what each stat, Str/Agi/Int/Vit, gives. You will be able to consider which stat you may want to prioritise.

[Warrior]

  • STR = 0.5 pDMG, 2.5 stun, 3 para, 3 para resist
  • 1 INT = 35 MP, 0.5 mDMG, 0.8 mDEF
  • 1 AGI = 0.25 pDMG, 3.5 crit, 10.5 crit resist
  • 1 VIT = 30 HP, 0.6 pDEF, 2.5 stun resist

[Archer]

  • 1 STR = 0.25 pDMG, 2.5 stun, 3 para, 3 para resist
  • 1 INT = 35 MP, 0.5 mDMG, 0.8 mDEF
  • 1 AGI = 0.5 pDMG, 3.5 crit, 10.5 crit resist
  • 1 VIT = 30 HP, 0.6 pDEF, 2.5 stun resist

[Guide] NPC Gifting

This guide is written by Remi from DragonNestSource Forum and I take no credit for it. I find this guide quite useful so I decided to share with you guys.

Introduction

So you’re wondering why you should gift NPCs, well for one they give you items in the mail when you become closer to them, most of the time they contain gifts that could help you at the time being such as crude gems.

They also increase fraction points towards the group they are in, in which you exchange those points in order to craft certain items. Some NPCs will even give you a discount as you get full friendship with them.

Throughout gifting, you’ll also be able to talk to them and ask/answer questions, try your best not to click rapidly as most people do, you are trying to find the best answer to get more fondness with them. Giving a wrong answer will increase their aversion.

Eventually you’ll reach 2 noticeable areas where they give you a gift which will increase more fondness as you give each gift, keep this until they reach 100% and then you can sell it to the NPC if you please.. The other gift is a memory regenerator where you can hear their voices, I usually keep the amazing ones like Kevin and Irine and NPC the rest.
